Please contact us as early as possible in your puppy acquiring process. If we cannot provide the right match, we can perhaps put you in touch with an alternative IWS breeder, or a breeder of a different more suitable breed. All we ask in return is that you maintain an open communication relationship with us and take care of your puppy like a member of the family. Knowing as much as possible about how puppies turn out is critical to a successful breeding program. We do understand that sometimes unexpected things happen in life and if a dog needs to be returned for any reason, we’ll be there for you.

To the left is an example of what a handful an IWS puppy can be! “Luckpuddle’s Wild Waves” from 2009. Smart, cheeky, active and with a mind of her own…. Irish Water Spaniels are often not good fit for a first-time or inexperienced dog owner. They require a lot more socialization than most breeds to become trusting and confident dogs. They also very much want to be active and mentally engaged and are almost never content to do nothing all day.
